QR codes for artists

The label gives the title. The code tells the piece.

And sells it, without anyone having to go and find the gallerist.

Scan it — it is a real one

You pick what it is for, not between eighteen types of code.
Six uses

Six places to put it

On the wall label, on the stretcher, in the exhibition catalogue. Each one with its own code and its own numbers.

01

Gallery of works

All of your work, not just what fits in the room.

02

The story behind it

Why you made it. That is what turns looking into wanting.

03

Buy this work

Straight to the sale, at the exact moment they are standing in front of it.

04

Commissions

A form for whoever wants something that does not exist yet.

05

Certificate of authenticity

Details and provenance, on the back and with no papers to lose.

06

Behind the scenes

The process, which is often worth as much as the result.

Why dynamic

The difference starts at the printer

A plain QR code

The address lives inside it

The piece sells, moves gallery or goes up in price, and the code on the stretcher still points at a catalogue from a show that ended two years ago.

And you never learn how many people used it, because it does not pass through anywhere that could count.

A dynamic QR code

We keep the address for you

The code points at QRlify and QRlify points wherever you say. Change the destination whenever you like and whatever you printed still works.

And because every scan passes through here, it can be counted.

What you see the next morning

How many scans, and on which piece. That tells you which work actually stops people, not which one you think they like.

The day-by-day and per-campaign detail starts on the Starter plan. The scan count is on every plan.

How it is done

Four steps and it is on the label

You say what you do

Pick «Personal and professional» and then «Artist». That is enough for us to know what to offer, so you never choose between eighteen types of code.

You pick what it is for

Gallery, the story, the sale, commissions, certificate or process. Each one arrives with its field ready.

You give it your colours

Two colours and, on a paid plan, your logo in the middle. Black on white also works, and scans just as well.

You download and print it

PNG or SVG, at whatever size you need. From then on, anything that changes you change from the dashboard.

A page, not a link

All of it together, in a QCard

A QR code leads to one place. A QCard is a page of yours with several buttons: the gallery, the story, the purchase, commissions and your socials.

You point a single code at that page and change the buttons whenever you like. When the piece sells, the code on the stretcher leads to the next series.

An artist QCard on a phone: name, description and buttons to the gallery of works, the story behind the piece, buy it and commissions
Questions

What artists usually ask

Yes, and it is what we would recommend: one per piece pointing at its own page. Grouped under the same name, the dashboard tells you which is scanned most from the Starter plan.
It works for leading to the details and the provenance, which is what gets consulted. It does not replace a signed certificate: it is the way to keep that document always to hand.
Yes, but carefully: the code is an SVG and loses no definition, though under two and a half centimetres in low gallery light it gets hard to scan. Three is better.
You change the destination to whatever you want its new owner to see, or to the next series. The code on the stretcher is untouched.
Creating and downloading a static code is free and unlimited. The dynamic one starts on the free plan. See the plans.

The work sells. The label gets reused.
