QR codes in tourism

The sign stays in the square. What it says is up to you.

Audio guide, itinerary and meeting point, behind a code that survives rain and rewrites.

Six uses

Six places to put it

On the leaflet, on the sign at the stop, on the guide’s badge. Each one with its own code and its own numbers.

01

Destination guide

What to see, how to get around and what to skip, updated by season.

02

Book a tour

Straight to your platform. Change provider without changing the leaflet.

03

Audio guide

One code per stop, and the explanation plays on their own phone.

04

Meeting point

The exact map, which is what saves the fifteen minutes of waiting.

05

Itinerary

Times and stops for the day, on a page you fix the night before.

06

Reviews

At the end of the tour, which is when people are happiest.

Why dynamic

The difference starts at the printer

A plain QR code

The address lives inside it

You change the departure time, the booking provider or the meeting point, and the thousand leaflets you handed out this summer lead nowhere.

And you never learn how many people used it, because it does not pass through anywhere that could count.

A dynamic QR code

We keep the address for you

The code points at QRlify and QRlify points wherever you say. Change the destination whenever you like and whatever you printed still works.

And because every scan passes through here, it can be counted.

What you see the next morning

How many scans, and at which stop. That shows which point on the route interests people and which sign is hanging where nobody looks.

The day-by-day and per-campaign detail starts on the Starter plan. The scan count is on every plan.

How it is done

Four steps and it is on the sign

You say what you do

Pick «Businesses and organisations» and then «Tourism and travel». That is enough for us to know what to offer, so you never choose between eighteen types of code.

You pick what it is for

Destination guide, bookings, audio guide, meeting point, itinerary or reviews. Each one arrives with its field ready.

You give it your colours

Two colours and, on a paid plan, your logo in the middle. Black on white also works, and scans just as well.

You download and print it

PNG or SVG, at whatever size you need. From then on, anything that changes you change from the dashboard.

A page, not a link

All of it together, in a QCard

A QR code leads to one place. A QCard is a page of yours with several buttons: the itinerary, the booking, the meeting point, the guide’s WhatsApp and the reviews.

You point a single code at that page and change the buttons whenever you like. The winter route replaces the summer one without reprinting a leaflet.

A tourism QCard on a phone: name, description and buttons to the itinerary, book the tour, the meeting point and the reviews
Questions

What tour operators usually ask

Yes, and it is the case that justifies a dynamic code. The leaflet points at QRlify and QRlify at the current itinerary. You move the departure time and what you handed out still works.
Yes: one code per stop, each pointing at its own audio. If you improve the recording you change the destination and the sign in the square is never touched.
The code reads without data, but the destination is a web page, so opening it needs a connection. For places with no coverage it is worth saying so on the sign, or leaving the content downloadable.
Yes. Every scan is recorded and from the Starter plan you see the detail by day and campaign, which is how you compare one stop with another.
Creating and downloading a static code is free and unlimited. The dynamic one — the one you can change and measure — starts on the free plan. See the plans.
