Hotels, hostels and short stays

QR codes in hotels

The folder on the bedside table ages. A code does not.

Wifi, hours, service and recommendations, on a page you change when the hotel changes.

QR code that opens the QRlify generator
Scan it — it is a real one
The QRlify generator showing a hotel’s use cases: guest guide, room wifi, room service, local recommendations, bookings and the stay survey
You pick what it is for, not between eighteen types of code.
Six uses

Six places to put it

On the bedside table, on the bathroom mirror, at reception. Each one with its own code and its own numbers.

01

Guest guide

Wifi, hours, services and house rules, on a page you update yourself.

02

Room wifi

The guest scans and the phone offers to connect.

03

Room service

Point it at your menu or your room order form.

04

Local recommendations

Your map, with the places that are actually worth it.

05

Book a stay

Straight to your booking engine, or to your listing on whichever portal you use.

06

Stay survey

You collect the opinion before they leave, not after the review.

Why dynamic

The difference starts at the printer

A plain QR code

The address lives inside it

You change the wifi password, the breakfast hours or the restaurant you recommend, and the hundred folders in the hundred rooms are all quietly lying.

And you never learn how many people used it, because it does not pass through anywhere that could count.

A dynamic QR code

We keep the address for you

The code points at QRlify and QRlify points wherever you say. Change the destination whenever you like and whatever you printed still works.

And because every scan passes through here, it can be counted.

What you see the next morning

How many scans, and at what point in the stay. That shows whether anyone uses the guide on the bedside table, or whether the sign in the lift works better.

The day-by-day and per-campaign detail starts on the Starter plan. The scan count is on every plan.

How it is done

Four steps and it is on the bedside table

You say what you do

Pick «Businesses and organisations» and then «Hotels and accommodation». That is enough for us to know what to offer, so you never choose between eighteen types of code.

You pick what it is for

Guide, wifi, room service, recommendations, bookings or the survey. Each one arrives with its field ready.

You give it your colours

Two colours and, on a paid plan, your logo in the middle. Black on white also works, and scans just as well.

You download and print it

PNG or SVG, at whatever size you need. From then on, anything that changes you change from the dashboard.

A page, not a link

All of it together, in a QCard

A QR code leads to one place. A QCard is a page of yours with several buttons: the wifi, the hours, room service, the recommendations and reception’s WhatsApp.

You point a single code at that page and change the buttons whenever you like. A seasonal menu, the lift being out, the new pool hours: in and out on their own.

A hotel QCard on a phone: name, description and buttons to the wifi, room service, the local recommendations and reception’s WhatsApp
Questions

What hotels usually ask

Yes, and it is the main reason to use it. The code on the bedside table points at QRlify and QRlify at your guide. You change hours, services or rules from the dashboard and what is printed still holds.
Yes. It carries the network and the password inside, and the phone offers to connect without typing anything. One caveat: anyone who scans it can read the password, so use it with the guest network, not the hotel’s internal one.
Yes. Create one per area and group them under the same campaign name. From the Starter plan the dashboard compares them, which is how you see which floor uses room service and which does not.
That is the point of putting it in the room rather than at checkout: it reaches you while you can still fix something. The code points at your form, and you change the destination when you change tools.
Creating and downloading a static code is free and unlimited. The dynamic one — the one you can change and measure — starts on the free plan. See the plans.
