Hospitals and healthcare centres

QR codes in hospitals

The discharge sheet gets lost. The code does not, and it is up to date.

Check-in, wayfinding, scan preparation and aftercare, where the patient already is.

QR code that opens the QRlify generator
Scan it — it is a real one
The QRlify generator showing a hospital’s use cases: patient check-in, wayfinding, specialist information, how to prepare for your scan, aftercare and a care survey
You pick what it is for, not between eighteen types of code.
Six uses

Six places to put it

At admissions, in the corridor, on the discharge sheet. Each one with its own code and its own numbers.

01

Patient check-in

They fill in their details from the waiting room, not at the desk.

02

Finding your way

The map of the building, which is what reception gets asked most.

03

Specialist information

Who is seeing them, their training and their field.

04

Preparing for your scan

Fasting, timings and what to bring. Without a call to confirm it.

05

Aftercare instructions

What to do at home, on a page that does not get creased.

06

Care survey

The opinion while they still remember the visit.

Why dynamic

The difference starts at the printer

A plain QR code

The address lives inside it

A protocol changes, or an opening time, or a phone number — and everything printed keeps saying the old thing until somebody reprints it.

And you never learn how many people used it, because it does not pass through anywhere that could count.

A dynamic QR code

We keep the address for you

The code points at QRlify and QRlify points wherever you say. Change the destination whenever you like and whatever you printed still works.

And because every scan passes through here, it can be counted.

What you see the next morning

How many scans, and on which floor. That shows whether the wayfinding sign on the second floor does its job, or whether people still ask at reception.

The day-by-day and per-campaign detail starts on the Starter plan. The scan count is on every plan.

How it is done

Four steps and it is in the corridor

You say what you do

Pick «Businesses and organisations» and then «Hospitals and clinics». That is enough for us to know what to offer, so you never choose between eighteen types of code.

You pick what it is for

Check-in, wayfinding, specialist, preparation, aftercare or the survey. Each one arrives with its field ready.

You give it your colours

Two colours and, on a paid plan, your logo in the middle. Black on white also works, and scans just as well.

You download and print it

PNG or SVG, at whatever size you need. From then on, anything that changes you change from the dashboard.

A page, not a link

All of it together, in a QCard

A QR code leads to one place. A QCard is a page of yours with several buttons: check-in, the map, how to prepare for a scan and the unit’s phone number.

You point a single code at that page and change the buttons whenever you like. A new protocol goes live on Monday without reprinting a single leaflet.

A healthcare QCard on a phone: name, description and buttons to patient check-in, finding your way, scan preparation and the unit contact
Questions

What healthcare centres usually ask

Yes, and in a setting where protocols change it is the main reason to use it. The code points at QRlify and QRlify at the current version of the document.
No. QRlify records the scan — when, what kind of device, which browser language — so it can be counted, but it collects no clinical data and does not identify who scanned. What happens inside your own form depends on the tool you use there.
Yes, by pointing the code at your form or your portal. If you change systems, you change the destination and the signs keep working.
Yes. Create one per area and group them under the same name to compare them in the dashboard from the Starter plan.
Creating and downloading a static code is free and unlimited. The dynamic one — the one you can change and measure — starts on the free plan. See the plans.
