QR codes in technology

The onboarding improves every week. The box does not.

Demo, first steps, download and support, behind a code you can actually iterate on.

You pick what it is for, not between eighteen types of code.
Six uses

Six places to put it

On the box, at the stand, on the device label. Each one with its own code and its own numbers.

01

See the demo

From the stand to the demo, without asking anyone to type a URL.

02

First steps

The getting-started guide, which you improve without reprinting the box.

03

Documentation

The right page, not the front door of the docs site.

04

Download the app

One code and the phone goes to its store: iPhone to the App Store, Android to Google Play.

05

Report a bug

A form with the product and version already filled in.

06

Support

The real channel, not the maze on the website.

Why dynamic

The difference starts at the printer

A plain QR code

The address lives inside it

You print ten thousand boxes with a code and three months later you reorganise the documentation. With a plain code, those ten thousand boxes lead to a 404.

And you never learn how many people used it, because it does not pass through anywhere that could count.

A dynamic QR code

We keep the address for you

The code points at QRlify and QRlify points wherever you say. Change the destination whenever you like and whatever you printed still works.

And because every scan passes through here, it can be counted.

What you see the next morning

How many scans, and from which placement. That shows whether the card at the stand generates demos, or whether what works is the code on the box.

The day-by-day and per-campaign detail starts on the Starter plan. The scan count is on every plan.

How it is done

Four steps and it is on the box

You say what you do

Pick «Businesses and organisations» and then «Technology and software». That is enough for us to know what to offer, so you never choose between eighteen types of code.

You pick what it is for

Demo, first steps, documentation, download, bugs or support. Each one arrives with its field ready.

You give it your colours

Two colours and, on a paid plan, your logo in the middle. Black on white also works, and scans just as well.

You download and print it

PNG or SVG, at whatever size you need. From then on, anything that changes you change from the dashboard.

A page, not a link

All of it together, in a QCard

A QR code leads to one place. A QCard is a page of yours with several buttons: the demo, the first steps, the download, the documentation and support.

You point a single code at that page and change the buttons whenever you like. Version 2 replaces version 1 without anyone binning a box.

Questions

What tech teams usually ask

Yes: the "App" type detects the phone and sends iPhone to the App Store and Android to Google Play. One printed code, two stores.
Yes, and that is the reason to make it dynamic. You restructure the docs, change the destination, and what is printed or engraved does not end up pointing at a 404.
Yes. One code per show or per placement, grouped under the same campaign name, and from the Starter plan they compare to each other.
Yes, with the Smart QR: you set rules by schedule, by device or by browser language, and the same code leads to one place or another.
Creating and downloading a static code is free and unlimited. The dynamic one — the one you can change and measure — starts on the free plan. See the plans.
